How do I quickly indent a selected area of text with a space?

I select several lines of text and I wish to insert a single space to the start
of each and every line I've selected.

Pressing TAB inserts a tab (set to 4 spaces) which is also useful in some
documents.
But not in text files.

I'm probably overlooking something obvious.
So be kind.

:-))

I have updated my plugin to include an unicode version that is compatible with
the new NPP unicode version.

You can download it here:
http://fstellari.googlepages.com/npp_plugins

The new version should also be visible through to those using the PluginUpdate
on the current or ASCII version of NPP.

Please tray it out and let me know how it works on unicode since this is my
first unicode program.

Regards,

Franco

I didn't know that option existed. Now that I know it does, it begs the
suggestion
of removing all the uncommon languages from that menu by default.

I mean, does anyone really use Assembly language any more? Or smalltalk or
kixtart?
I had to look those latter two up to see what they were.

SUGGESTION:
* The Language menu should be cleaned out, leaving the most common languages
(there are probably about 20 well-known ones).
* An entry should be added at the bottom saying "More languages..." that takes
you to the Language tab in preferences.

This is your third unicode plugin announcement today, and each and every one
of the three is your "first unicode program".

yeh i have the functions sorted. seems to be working now after i hit '(' and
added the <Environment ignoreCase="no" startFunc="(" stopFunc=")"
paramSeparator=","
terminal=";" /> tag to the xml.

Still would like to get block comments working which seems doable. and the 3rd
case which seems less likely.
Any idea?

I think many Drupal people will use this if it works :).

I dont see how this changes the tabs? I am guessin' didnt read my question and
just read title which is alright... The option you mentioned affects the Tab
bar, not individual keyboard settings for pretend php or java where tabs are
set to equal 2spaces. Is that somewhere else Daniel?

Used to be here:, now its disapeared in newer version...

Every time I start a new session, and try to "Open..." or "Save as...",
it opens its directory (C:\Program Files\Notepad++\npp.5.0.3.bin), which is
useless.

Even though I checked "Remember last operation directory" and "Remember the
current session for next launch".
Better would be if it remembered which dir was used in previous session.
Or even provided a drop-down list of last used dirs, like some program do.

I love cutting and pasting.

If this is the only problem that you see... I will be surprised.
