SOLUTION
This is happening because the default setup has added two functions to the same
shortcut.
Change one of the shortcuts and it all works again.
Menu > Settings > Shortcut Mapper? >
- TAB Main Menu - #36 [Word Completion]
- TAB Plugin commands ? #236 [Replace Tag]

Thank you for saving my sanity! Like Geert, I was looking for a way to turn
this off too and I had no idea that plugin was active and doing that to me
either!
I was losing my mind trying to find out how to stop that! *lol*

Hi, I have a problem about the Variables of notepad++.
As we know the Variable "FILE_NAME" means the name of our document file name.
I know these variables follow as below:

I know there are many variables, but i do not know how to get it.Is it in some
help documents?

This suggestion I made also to another editor: The use of Lucida Console
font is good... except that for some reason I haven't seen an editor that
will let user adjust the line spacing or the line height of the lines when
this font is used. Courier New still gives more spacing vertically so that
the lines are less cramped together. Lucida Console makes it look like it
is TextMate on the Mac, except one thing is that its vertical spacing is
really narrow, making the lines somewhat cramped together and on different
editors, I eventually have to set the font back to Courier New due to this.

You can come close by Recording a macro, typing in all those characters then
saving the macro.
You can also include creating a new empty document, as part of the macro.
1. Start Recording
2. FILE menu, hit NEW
3. Type in your HTML
4. End Recording
5. Save Macro.
6. Ditch the file you just created.
7. Playback the macro.

Okay I must be blind, but I don't see a menu item that allows Notepad++ to
insert
another file at the cursor.
Almost every other editor I've ever used has this ability...except the original
Notepad.exe ;) <wink>
