It can be an add-on too. I need it for browsing large log files, and ASCII database files. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Notepad officially supports a feature that allows you to put .LOG on the first line of the file by itself. When the file is opened, the CRLF + current date/time + CRLF is stamped onto the end of the file. The file is not "dirty" at this point and can be closed without saving the date stamp. I actually use this feature to log progress for certain contracts, and would like to see it supported. Thanks, bithead ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. But now runs at Startup 4-5 Sec. the Curser with the Sandbox and a 2. Prozess is running in Task-manager! 1. notepad++.exe and 2. notepad.exe (your Launcher?)! So i guess, the best Way is you released 1. only little Launcher (18kb) 2. Launcher with (like in MSFN-Forum) - GUI - Iinstallation with Question if yes replace or no not and Exit, - Logfile, were we can look in wich Location the ms-notepad.exe stays, - Backup-folder with the orginal ms-notepad.exe and - when you setup your Autoinstallation twice the ms-notep.exe will be with number - ms-notepad01.exe or so Only my Suggestion. Best Regards, Oh-nice. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. Maybe there is a typo somewhere along the line You can also try to force the params to show even if "Function parameters hint on input" is disabled by (default) pressing ctrl-shift-space If you can also post the environment tag (or just upload the entire xml somewhere (but dont post it literally, makes it hard to read =])) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
