If user changes the viewing position, the program will unload the previous position from the memory and load the newly located position. This way it will be slower to browse a large file if user has lots of RAM, but if user has limited amount of RAM it will skyroket the process. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. However, second exec with WaitForSingleObject() (that waits for Notepad++ exit, and therefore exists as long as Notepad++ does) was right one. Strange, but please accept my apologies. Now there is a correct version. Launcher with autoinstallation built-it won't be bigger than, let's say, 30 KB, so I think that this is still acceptable. I'll use name trigger, which means that installation will start only if the name of the executable is 'install.exe'. There won't be any so-called GUI apart from some MessageBoxes (beginning, end of installation). Log and backup are of course good ideas, but they aren't crucial IMHO. I have some problems with SFC/WFP currently. Disabling it using undocumented SetSfcFileException() function for given notepad.exe paths works for me only in %WINDIR%, but not in subdirectories. I'm using Windows XP x64 and maybe that's why. Nevertheless the solution should be universal and at this moment I cannot guarantee it. There as another feature where it would show a function list and I could select a function from the list and NPP would automatically go to the header line. I can't find these very useful features in NPP 5.1, I think I have been missing them since 5.0. I really hope they were not removed. Can someone tell me where to find them? I have been enjoying NPP for the past 2 years, by far the best general editor. ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. (Or a way to change the defaults.) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. I have no problems with CHMOD (file permission change) on Pspad, Core FTP, FileZilla or any other FTP client. But I was not able to CHMOD with FTP_synchronize on Notepad++ I noticed that I also cannot change file modification time (MDTM) I tried raw commands too but always the same error: SITE CHMOD command failed... Please help, Mahir ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum. However, I can't garantee there are no subtle issues caused by internal architecture re-design and/or Unicode support. Therefore it's called "0.3 beta1" - to have justification in case of bugs ;-) ______________________________________________________________________ You are receiving this email because you elected to monitor this forum.
