Following up on this.

I just upgraded myy home system to N++ 5.1.4 from 5.1.2, and the java plugin
is working right. Only difference is that I have Win XP Home (admin) at home
and WinXP Pro (not admin) at work.

Again, I'll see how removing and replacing the dll will help there. I'll also
try to download the dll again, just in case.

CChris

Not really. What you should do instead is use the directory variable for the
current file, then go relative of that (which is about the same, except a lot
more reliable), like $(CURRENT_DIRECTORY)\..\[path] (dunno if that is the
correct
syntax, you can look it up)

There is a plugin for that, called WindowManager, you can find it in the plugins
forum, or on the "Notepad++ plugins" project page on sourceforge

I'll take a look at at, but as it stands, I have little time the next few days
(but im working on it).
Multi-View sounds like a reasonable cause of the problem

If you like using multiple-lines, try the textfx plugin search feature. TextFX
is shipped by default and pressing Ctrl-R brings up the dialog. There are a
few helpful words in the dialog itself

Can't find one that will work for the new version. I know it's probably too
early, but has anyone found one that I might have overlooked?

I'm running into a similar problem. I've got a custom language based on a
scripting
language I use.

Subroutines start with "Sub routine_name" and you can leave the subroutine with
/return. Unfortunately, I can have multiple "/return" statements within the
same subroutine, and the fold takes the first one and folds in the wrong spot.
I'd like to be able to use something like "^/return" as the end of the folder,
so that I can differentiate the other /returns from the /return I want to use.

Example:

Sub testsub

code
code
if (blah) /return
if (blah2) /return
if (blah3) {
 blah;
 blah;
 /return
}

/return

Of course, the embedded spaces in front of the last if() were ignored; pretend
they're indented.

Ok, I did a little experimenting.

Setting folder open to: "Sub"
Setting folder close to: "/return |"
Comment start: "|"

================
Sub blah1

/if (blah) {
____/return | this is a comment
}

/return
================

will still fold in the wrong place, at the first "/return". And the fold
definition
will clobber the comment highlighting as well.

I hate that there's no edit functionality in these forums. Anyway, this is
the way I tested it, obviously the previous example was incorrect:

Setting folder open to: "Sub"
Setting folder close to: "/return |"
Comment start: "|"

================
Sub blah1

/if (blah) {
____/return
}

/return  | this is a comment
================

And it folds in the wrong place, as previously stated.
