Hello Alberto,
Since you already subscribe to [email protected],
you'll get a email every time a new version of Notepad++ comes out (current
is 5.14).
Then, you can download it at notepad-plus.sf.net at the Download page...
It's not like Novell or Windows Update with patches; they are all bugfixes
and new features in new versions...

Its the colon that does that. FTP_s doesnt do any sanitizing, so it causes
problems
like that. Its a know issue, unfortunatly there is no fix. Only workaround is
to rightclick on each file, and use the save as option

for a long time, i've been asking for the ability to dim or custom color CR/LF
pairs, as well as ability to show only tabs, without spaces. i dont ever need
to see both tabs AND space indicators - just tabs, because they can be confused
with spaces. if you need special indication of a space to be able to see it
in your code, you should definitely be using a better font to start with.
-- part of this may be a Scintilla limitation though. I'd love to get a
definitive
answer from Harry or Don rather than no answer.

Hello,
I have just experienced a problem while I wanted to paste a very long line into
Notepad++ (more than 100,000 characters). The program seemed to do what I
wanted,
but it chopped the line at about 87,000 characters. How can I get around this
bug - or is it not a bug but a feature? I think the user should at least get
a message that part of his text was cut off...
