The shortcuts are correctly remembered on my machine, using 5.1.4.
I configured N++ to not use %APPDATA%, and added an empty doLocalConf.xml file
to the installation folder, as I noticed I was losiung some other changes. This
makes me think that the issue could be a missing doLocalConf.xml file in your
system.

Perfect, thanks. WCMS is what I'm looking for / trying to implement. I'll
research
more to see if there's something I would like and already done.
And thanks for the info on post editing. Makes sense. When I first posted it
seemed to come up under someone else's thread, but then it appeared in its own
thread so I guess no problem.

I see now WCMS has been around forever. Seems like most are setup for
non-programmers
to add content. Also tons of higher end looking systems for sale but kind of
"meet the sales guy so we can see how much we can charge you" thing.
I'm guessing I could wrap open source phpwcms or N/X WCMS into a NPP plugin.
But there's not much info on their web site and I'm thinking it would take me
10x longer than if I just wrote something myself since I only want, at least
initially, a couple very simple features. Right now I just want file
concatenate/mereg/munge but I could also use this to manage graphic files.
I think I will proceed with a NPP plugin. I can't find any other existing NPP
plugins that do WCMS.
Would this be something worth posting? Or do developers already have WCMS tools
they're happy with? Or do developers not even use WCMS because they have scripts
or something to get the same results?

I've written a number of messages, suggestions and tricks about regular
expression.
Did none of those help you at all, or did you just not find them?
For the original posters, a search with just the word multiline would have
pointed
them in the right direction.
I guess it's not so hard after all, if you think about searching before asking,
and think about what words to search for.
