Hey there,

would it be possible to remember the setting for the file-type-pattern which
are searched, and more important: would it be possible to set the directory
to the directory, the actual opened file is in?

thanks!

See in the key [HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Notepad++_file\shell\open\command] with
regeditor.
The default value should be something like this: "C:\Program
Files\Notepad++\ansi\notepad++.exe" "%1" Make sure the path points to your
current
version of notepad++.

When I close Find dialog box by clicking Cancel button or Close system-button,
there will show the transparent shadow of dialog box. It will not disappear
unless closing notepad++.

I know notepad++.exe can be started with the -nosessions option, however...
when you
open a document through the shell integration this option is of course not set.
Is there a workaround or option I can set in the program itself?
Or can it be build in somewhere in the future?

Mike

Does this colour picker plugin work for version Notepad++ 5.3.1? I cannot get
it to work and am wondering if I'm not doing something correct? I copy the
dll into the "C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins" folder and when I start
Notepad++
it tells me that the plugin doesn't work with this version.

It's supposed to only work on Windows.

Or, you can try to install Wine for FreeBSD http://wiki.freebsd.org/Wine which
works with Linux...

I'm trying to do a user define language and I'm curious if it's possible to
make the code fold at user created identifiers which precede some sort of code
block.

For example:

foo
start

end

Where foo is the user created identifier and start/end are the code block.
Currently I can only have it fold at "start" when in fact it should fold at
"foo".

If it's not possible to do this in user define where would be the best place
to start trying to add such a thing? Plugin? Scintilla lexer? Or will I have
to go into scintilla source itself for this?

Also is there an easy way to get rid of the line it draws when code is folded?

Hi,

Let me explain my issue with an example. If I have http://www.hotmail.com, then
when I hover my mouse on this text, it changes colour and doubleclicking it,
it opens up hotmail website. However if I have a website:

http://www.frontiernet.net/~imaging/play_a_piano.html

Neither is there an underline nor does the text turn blue when I hover over
it. In other words clicking on it doesn't open the website. If you cut and paste
this in IE or Firefox then you can see that the page does exist. It appears
that Notepad++ doesn't recognise tilda (~).

Is there a way around this or am I missing something?

Also is it possible:
a) To have the hyperlink on www.hotmail.com and not just http://www.hotmail.com
(as in the case with Metapad)
b) Option to have the hyperlink colour to be blue so that when opening a
'readme.txt'
file, the hyperlinks stand out (as in the case with Metapad).

Many thanks for this wonderful program!.

Cheers!
