I downloaded that zip file and moved the NppHelp.chm to the folder where the
error msg said it was looking for it. Now I don't get the error msg stating
that the NppHelp.chm file is missing, and I do get the help screen that comes
up. But none of the help pages come up. All I get is an error msg in the body
where the help notes would be stating that "Navigation to the webpage was
canceled".
I've got a support request into Sierra Charts, so hopefully they will solve
this problem.

I expect this page to be exhaustive and up to date so far:

http://apps.sourceforge.net/mediawiki/notepad-plus/index.php?title=Plugin_Centra
l

When the wiki opens officially - there is quite some work to do yet -, and
registered
users are able to update pages, then it is hoped that plugin authors will
perform
the proper updates there.

After updating o version v5.3.1 I'm getting two succesive popup messages each
time I call Notepad++
1) CreateProcess: Access is denied.
2) Exception: 2002.

I tried to reverse to the previous version but it didn't help.

Once I have passed this two messages the program work, but it's naging to have
to got through it each time.

Is this problem known ? any fix ?

Thanks

Phil.

Do you know there is a macro that does that?

Using ComparePlugin v1.5.2 on N++ 5.4RC.

Affter performing a file Compare and Clearing the results, clicking on the left
meragin for any document, instead of adding an icon in margin #1, changes the
background color of the line. Hitting Ctrl+F2 does the same. This behaviour
also affects documents not being involved in the compare process.

Closing Notepad++ and reopening it removes the extra background highlighting
and restores the expected margin markers.

Is this an issue with Compare or with Change Markers? Any fix?

I'd vote for c), since a file qualifies as a session if either:
* it is session.xml, or
* if it was saved as a session

All it takes is a sessions.ini file, one line per nown session file, whose
contents
woud build a menu opening as "Load session". session.xml would be considered
as implicitly present on the file.

Either this is a bug, or I didn't understand the very skinny documentation.

Using the NPPTextFX_demo.txt as playing ground:
1/ Perform Show between selected or All-reset lines
2/ Select lines 342-345, Hide beween selected
3/ Select lines 337-340, Hide between selected
So far, so good
4/ Move to somewhere and Insert SHow/Hide sequence. I get
-[342-345]
-[337-340]
Makes sense. Now I want to single step this 2 move sequence.
5/ Show all.
6/ Select the two new lines,
Select as Hide/Show sequence
7/ Hide/SHow sequence single step start
8/ Hide/Show sequence single step next - first block is hidden again, good
9/ Hide/Show sequence single step next - nothing happens, bad.

Is it a bug or did I do it wrong?

All commands above are from the TextFX Viz menu.

By the way what is "Hide/Show sequence singlestep rest" suposed to do?

Did you check the Enable checkbox in Settings -> Prferences -> MISC -> Clickable
link setting ?

The fact that https:// URLs are not seen is a known issue.

The zip files you refer to as "Unicode dll and sources" appears to be empty,
and cause explorer to crash on trying to unpack it.
