QuickText2.zip seems to be the same corruted archive than the one from the
direct
link.
QuickText.dll "xompiled with /MT" is 218Ko and seems to work on XP, though I
understand that it is intended for Vista.
The dll I have is only 71.5Ko in size.

this has been driving me insane for weeks now. i'm about to drop back down an
older version just because of this.
could we atleast get a button to fill the box with the directory of the
currently
active file? then you could keep the current behaviour of remembering the last
dir, but allow an EASY way to start your search where THIS file is at.

I tried your file switcher and find it nice.
I have a request :
Is it possible to make it dockable (by using plugin dialog docking interface)?
ie. File Switcher keeps the current mode, in the case that user make it docked,
it shows only file name and becomes resist (and eventually, hide the tab bar).
It will make ppl who don't like tab happy.
Don

That should be doable - what do you mean by "resist" though?
I think for this (to avoid the use of a timer), it'd need NPPN_READONLYCHANGED
or something similar to accurately display the readonly status.
Many thanks,
Dave.

My guess is: you can skip steps 4 to 6 and execute step 7 immediately, because
Text FX is wise enough to have remembered what you have (already) done.
I never used these options, but the one to (re)do all previous steps again.
I guess the "rest" option is to do just that, after you have performed any
number
of previous steps before: it does all the remaining steps of the total sequence
at once.

Hi,
There is a usefull tips I just found :
under windows XP (maybe other windows ? ) the file /right click/open file
with/notepad++.exe (always) just do nothing with some softwares, when installed
without an installer.
- create a .bat file in your notepad++ directory (ex : npp.bat whatever... )
- copy this command into it
"%~dp0notepad++.exe" %1
where notepad++.exe is the name of the notepad++ exe
Associate the file type you want to open with this .bat
/right click/open file with/npp.bat (always)
If you now the notepad++ starting arguments, you can also pass theme in the
.bat file.

5/ seems to be needed in order to replay the sequence, or at least for it to
make sense.
Thanks for the "rest" thing. I'd have used "go" or "proceed" instead of "rest"
but this is minor.
I tried this command, and it didn't seem to do anything.
I'd expect it, as well as the "nect" that I used, to play the second step of
the sequence - as it has to steps -, and that didn't happen. Was this expected?
How to replay the last step?
CChris

I have the same problem. ('3' or '?' instead of '?', similar for other special
characters)
I am currently using N++ 5.3.1 Unicode on Windows 7 (x64) bulid 7100
I have tried deleting whole N++ folder and replacing it with new one from fresh
.zip file, but it didn't help at all.

Hi, When ever I try to use spell checker I get a window pop saying:
GNU Aspell or dictionaries are missing
Downlaod installation files here:
blah blah
If Aspell is already installed, do correction of
relative path to aspell-15.dll and restart:
TEXT AREA
Ok, I have it installed and change the text in teh text area to:
C:\Program Files\Aspell\bin
click ok, then close Notepad++.
Restart, click spellchecker again and same thing pops up.
Anyone offer any advice please?
Thank you.
- Methok
