That's true. I never have to use that, because when I switch document tabs and
return, all lines are shown again (automatically, I don't know why, Don Ho can't
reproduce it).

Perhaps you can test it with a new sequence containing two very simple and
obvious
steps.

Perform the first step first, then use the "rest" option.

> How to replay the last step?

I guess you can use the "Show sequence" option for that, select the last line
and execute this as a single step (Select as Hide/Show sequence).

It's funny to see how Hide and Show switch order in the option descriptions.

Notepad++ Suggestion:

1. When the Find dialog is open, the mouse scroll wheel should scroll the
current
document and not the "Find What" drop down menu. Unless the mouse is over the
Find dialog window.

Thanks guys!

Suggestion: Pressing Ctrl + F should always bring the focus to the "Find what:"
text box.

For example:
1. Press Ctrl + F
2. Modify "Find What:" dialog
3. Click "Find Next" button
4. Pressing Ctrl + F now does not bring focus to the "Find what:" box.

There are def some work-arounds for this. I just think this would be slightly
more intuitive.

Thanks for considering.

I think it would be nice to have per document wrapping. Since Notepad++ only
opens up one instance, all the view settings apply across all documents.
Usually,
I am opening up source code, and I don't want it wrapped. Sometimes, though,
I open up help files or READMEs that need to be wrapped for easier reading.
It would be nice to be able to switch between the tabs and not have to keep
changing the wrap setting.

Obviously, you couldn't really save the setting for each document. But you
could still have it persist at least as long as the document is open in npp.
You could even save the setting per file type. If I open up .java, no wrapping.
If I open up .txt, use wrapping.

Anybody, please respond to my post if you agree/disagree with what I've
suggested.
It'd be nice to know I'm not the only one that would find this useful. Or maybe
this is already possible in some way, and I don't know about it.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Patrick

In my spellchecker.ini file I have the following:

[Spell-Checker]
Current Language=en
Relative Path=..\Aspell\bin

Try making the path to Aspell relative as above.

Please check config.xml (in v5.4 RC1 and above) for settings called
fifFilterFollowsDoc and fifFolderFollowsDoc ?

They are not yet in the UI, guess they will when 5.4 FR rolls out. Try changing
them to something that suits you better.

An error occurred reading zip folder:
Zip Compressed File is invalid or damaged.

Same as before. I can't remember the last time I had trouble with zip files.

I tried Ctrl-F5 the forum page, in case there might be some cache poisoning,
and zappong temporary IE files. To no avail.

Can anyone succesfully unpack that file?

Ok, this is definitely a bug in TextFX:

If I hide lines 1269-1273, _then_ 1279-1284, the plugin operates as expected,
and the "rest" command replays rest of sequence. I can't help thinking of the
sequence being tired somehow.

But if I hide 1279-1284 first, _then_ 1268-1273, the ... next and ... rest
commands
only work once.

Guess I have to report this on NppTextFX project, or whatever its SF name.
