Sorry singx7;
I had the intention of working on this, yet it totally slipped my mind, while
working on getting the git repository setup so that casual developers would
have an easier time contributing to the project.
Could you please add this idea to the ideaTorrent so that it doesn't get buried
in the forums again? Hopefully some happy dev will get to it soon.

Love Notepad++... been using it for years, and can't imagine using anything
else!
Have tried installing the DBGP plugin, but can't seem to get it to work fully.
I have followed every tutorial / wiki / readme etc I can find on the net, but
always get the same result. Using the xdebug starter in Firefox and refreshing
a page with a breakpoint inserted, Notepad++ flashes as expected, but the
breakpoint
does not work. The raw DBGP shows communication between server and client, but
it just doesn't break. e.g:

If I use 'xdebug_break();' then it does break, but only the Global vars are
available, and trying any of the step commands etc just runs the rest of the
script.
I am running
Notepad++ 5.3.1 (Unicode)
DBGP Plugin 0.11b
XAMPP with PHP 5.2.6 inc APC (would this make a difference??)

I think the reason it wasn't added as a UI item is to help keep the interface
clean. If you feel it _should_ be an option then perhaps you could add an idea
to the ideaTorrent ( link in the 'Hosted Apps' drop down menu on this
Sourceforge
page ) and if enough people in the community agree it might just get added.
Or if you wanted, it would be great if you could code it up and submit it to
the open/experimental branch in the git repo (
http://github.com/almostautomated/notepad-plus ); then anyone else also wanting
it would have it easily available.

Agreed that it is disappointing.
The bug does not happen in the ANSI build or when 'Global Override' is set;
it should be too hard to find once someone starts looking for it.
Perhaps Chris's post on the ideaTorrent is right...
If you want to vote for the focus of the project to change a little for a while
to increase robustness and catch up on bug reports and patches you can vote
and comment for it in the projects ideaTorrent ( link in the 'Hosted Apps'
dropdown
of this Sourceforge page ).

Since I reinstalled windows, the command "explore file location" throws this:

error will also be returned if you attempt to print a file that is not
printable.
