You can pick and choose he languages you need from Preferences -> Settings ->
Languages. This way, you can hide all those languages you don't expect to use
even rarely.
Now, if you really mean to be using the 50 built-in languages plus some custom
ones, then adding a second column as appropriate would hlp. But do you?

If a command refers to some relative path, then you won't be sue of how the
path will resolve. Probably avoid doing this when defining Run commands.
If commands you run invoke files whose path is on the PATH variable, then they
will be found. So, another fix could be to edit PATH and append a couple folders
you expect to use.

I didn't know about the filter. I just put one in and the double-click works.
Thanks

Do you have a FunctionListRules.xml entry for AutoIT?

I'm experiencing a problem. Don't know if it is a bug or by design. I can't
remember that I have seen this in 5.3.1
When I collapse a block of code (with Alt+2), I click on the tab to go to my
second document and after that click on the tab of the original document then
the code is no longer collapsed.

I want to save just the current file on execute, but my only choices are to
save nothing, or "Save All files on Execute". I usually have multiple files
open at a time and some of them are temporary files that I do not want to save.
But when I run NppExec to compile one of my other files, I have to save every
changed file first. I have found no way to compile a file without saving it
first. My intent is to compile (AutoIT.exe) a source file that I just changed.

See NppExec's Manual, topic "4.7.1. Compiling simple C-programs" as an example.
Also you can read the topic "NppExec_Guide" (or the file "NppExec_Guide.txt").
