Not exactly sure what you are going at here. I'm talking about a genuine option
in the "Run" menu. What it does, is run a cmd.exe process and send "cd %dir"
to that cmd window, where %dir% is the directory of the file you currently have
opened. If that file is on a disk (or partition) different from the one
Notepad++
is running from (for example, I have Notepad++ installed on my C: drive, but
I open some files on my D: drive), the cd-command will not work. Afaik, this
has nothing to do with relative paths but with the fact that the cmd-window
is somehow 'bound' to whatever disk it currently set to. By typing the correct
disk (in my case it would be "D:") and pressing enter, the cmd-window shifts
to that disk and the directory is displayed as it should be.

Default

Hmmm... don't you change the "new1" base names as well?
Abd there is a huge kisr of predefined extensions, right below the file name
field.

Well, I thought that a path that doesn't start t a drive letter is relative.
That's what the "Current drive" is about.. or am I missing anything?

I'm not familiar with this 'exep' file, and do not see it being created
on Windows.
Would you be willing to disable all the plugins; then enable one at a time to
determine which creates it?

2/ Go to top of document
3/ Run macro multiple times, check "To end of document"
Seems to just work.
Granted, you'd like to be able to add a prologue, and perhaps an epilogue too,
to the Run macro multiple times dialog, so that the initial Ctrl+d be handled
too. This one would be an useful new feature.

Ctrl+M no longer works and there's no shortcut on the keyboard :(. i found that
really useful.
i can push the dropdown menu key and select the highlight tho. but it would
be nice if it was available as a shortcut.
