Sorry, the problem was nppcm.dll after the upgrade file is older version.
1 - But the problem with the "Recent Files List"
now it is constant

2 - Search UCS-2 on the Cyrillic is a work strange way

I don't have it installed here, but the CCompletion plugin may have what you
want.
I don't really need the ability because I use AllChars (another SF project),
which also has an abbreviation functionality, besides its main function of
allowing
entry of special characters.

I downloaded the portable version of Notebook.
As I found out all (modified) preferences were saved into Registry or somewhere
else.
How can I tell (AFTER installation/extraction) NP++ to save all settings into
an *.ini file in the installation directory?

At first I recorded a macro as inserting a dashed line and a CR:
-------<cr>
and assigned it to function key F4.
OK. Then I tried to apply this to the current text file.
I positioned the cursor at a desired place and hit F4
expecting to get an inserted dashed line.
But nothing happend.
Are function key assignments without ALT or CTRL possible at all?
Do I have to enable them explicitely?
Whats wrong otherwise?

There seems to be bug that persists in the latest version from previous ones.
When you have two or more documents open, upon changing to one of them by
clicking
on its tab for this, it is opened in another instance of Notepad++. Anyone else
experiencing this?

This would also be a good starting point to name all highlighting and marking
features consistently.
In the Find Dialog there are:
Mark Line = Set/Toggle Bookmark line in the Search menu
Style found token = is there an equivalent?
In the Search menu there is also
Mark all
Unmark all
Those are different from the Mark Line in the Find dialog.
Then there are also:
smart highlighting
highlighting from the incremental search
Are there any other?
I guess it would be a good thing to have an overview of these, preferrably with
a screen shot of examples of all variations with the default styler colors.
