Hello!
I would like to know if there is any contact address to the maker of the
auto-indent
plugin.
It sadly has been removed with v5.4.3 due to stability issues (yea, had a freeze
one time..).
But I really like auto-indention (after a single "if" for example, or in blocks
of course).
Why Notepad++ does not support it? Is it so hard to implement? A
Visual-Studio-like
indention would be so great!

Hi, CChris, thanks for your response, but what I was looking is a swifter way
to select strings which are not words for the editor (e. g. paths when writing
a shell script). I guess this feature does not exists in Npp and I should open
a "Feature request" thread

Does TextFX Edit -> Reindent C++ code does the trick on selected text after
you typed? I think it is deliberate policy not to interfere with typing and
do any reformatting later.

Personally, I hate it when cursor bounces around while I didn't ask for it,
so this thing would be better togglable.
The developer is harrybharry, he is on the N++ developer list.

This is already a File menu entry, and the 6th button from the left on the

There are two special character ?-? and ?-? are not appearing rightly during
typing. The appearance is o-O or u-U. But reading a text document, that contains
these characters is OK.
I'm using the latest final build 5.4.3.
