Well, well, (HTML tags will display in your post as text):

Hi, WynCntry:
I can only offer you a workaround:

   1. Create an auxiliar line wich must be at the top or at the bottom and must
be the longest line the content doesn't matter
   2. Go to the end of this line, pres Alt and holding this key select all the
text
   3. Select the menu option: TextFX --> TextFX Edit-->Pad rectangular selection
with spaces (bottom entry)

Now, you should have an square matrix which allow you to move horizontally and
vertically.

Hi, DREVET:

At least in the PortableApps.com version, there is a shortcuts.xml file which
contains entries such as:

<Command name="Get php help" Ctrl="no" Alt="yes" Shift="no"
Key="112">http://www.php.net/%20$(CURRENT_WORD)</Command>

Regards

Thanks for the suggestion. By the way I work on Finite Element Analsys. We
recreate parts, components, etc by dividing them in very small "bricks"/pieces.
I do not work with huge parts, put a typical model that I build can have a
million
nodes, each node has to be defined by the x,y, and z cordinates, plus each node
belongs to an element, so we need to know what node goes with each element,
etc, so, you can imagine that the amount of data grows very quickly. More than
90% are numbers, with some line in between. Those text files is what we called
the input deck (definition and instructions for the FE software). My output
results are on the Gig side. Fortunately they are binary and typically the
FE software handle them.
I will try the IdeaTorrent. Thanks for all the support and patience.

carlos

Hi:
Is there any way to replace all tabs into the corresponding spaces, i.e. if
I have:

{TAB}1234
1{TAB}234
12{TAB}34
123{TAB}4

{TAB} should be replaced in the first line by 4 spaces, OK you can
search-replace
\t by 4 spaces, but in the second line by 3 spaces and so on and this is not
so easy
Npp does it "on the fly" perfectly while you write with the "Replace by space"
checkbox and the TextFX Edit command "Leading spaces to tabs or tabs to spaces"
works fine for the leading spaces, but I need some way do replace correctly
text pasted from excel (with tabs between the text).

Does anyone knows any trick for doing so?

Thanks in advance and kind regards

Jos? E

refer to NppExec_Manual:

3.3. Do something (how-to)
4.4. Using cmd.exe
4.5. Console output redirection

InsertionPlugin is ANSI - and pretty ld at that.

Scintilla only knows about styled bytes. What they mean is determined by the
current buffer encoding. This can be queried using the NPPM_GETBUFFERENCODING
message, which returns a value from the UniMode enum.

I upgraded recently to 5.4.3 and found that right clicking changes the position
of the cursor. When I select some text unless I right-click exactly on the
selected
part, it places the cursor on the other line. Is there a way to prevent this?
I am copy/pasting at a wrong place 100 times a day...

Thanks in advance!
