Also- thrift exceptions in v0.6.1 do not extend TException(), thus I could not
use the helper method to wrap the exceptions. This was painstaking to
re-implement, but each method explicitly throws its own exceptions. In my
opinion, this does make it a tad more readable and manageable to make sure
everything is throwing the expected exceptions. I noted some TODO's where
exceptions were marked in the thrift file but never thrown- I'll write another
ticker for cleaning this up.
