If that's the case, I would encourage you to create a separate profile in your
settings.xml file that you can activate on every build that performs the checks
but ignores the files that you tend to add to your workspace, rather than make
the one in the pom.xml more lenient, as that will only make the build server
and the release checks less rigorous.
