If our build requires tweaks beyond stock Maven, it's a nice gesture to advise
our users of it. I'm thinking of folks who just want to do a build and don't
(want to) know Java or Maven well.
Short info in README + reference to something more is OK. I like Josh's idea of
a separate BUILDING file. I'm sure the implementer of this ticket will pick
something and do a great job with it!
