I found this test failure after #2554 was merged, because the thread pools for cleaning up were relocated to the client context, and the scanner was attempted to be closed (with a try-with-resources block) after the CleanUp utility closed the Connector in this test. Reading the comments in the ScannerIterator close method, I was able to see that the purpose of these thread pools for the cleanup tasks is so closing these objects doesn't block. However, I'm not sure why that is necessary.
