agreeing with nick that it would be nice to approach mochiweb first with a PR that either fixes the existing `unquote` function or, more likely, replaces it with a few unquote functions applying the distinct rules for different parts of a URI, and then have couchdb call the right ones. We can maintain that in our fork if there is an issue from upstream, but that upstream debate sounds like it would be valuable. For the record, I'm onboard with making the change (jan/nick/myself are of the view to change default behaviour in 4.0 with an opt-in mode for 3.x) but I think it would be good to have the mochi-level discussion. -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
