Fixed in 8.0.0-RC2, and present on `8.0.x`, `8.1.x`, and `9.0.x`. Tag libraries now write `META-INF/grails/taglibs` descriptors as they compile (`7c5b93fb1464`, "Generate a tag library index at compile time"). `TagLibraryIndex` merges those descriptors from the compile classpath, and `CompiledTagCallTransformation` uses that index to compile known tag calls (`9d2304f53f80`). -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
