The failures on 83e2720c65 came from the branch's tests, not the feature,
and are fixed in b849a58ddc, now rebased onto current 9.0.x:
- **Ten lanes died compiling the MongoDB core test sources out of heap.**
One line in the new listener spec, a GORM `where { address.city == 'Paris' }`
query on an embedded property of an entity declared in the same file, made that
compile take 80 seconds longer and exhaust the forked compiler's 2 GB; without
it the compile is back to its usual 7 seconds and fits in 600 MB on its own.
The spec now runs the same query through the criteria API. The transformation's
behaviour on that construct is worth its own issue; the reproducer is that one
line.
- **The MongoDB listener spec assumed a server on port 27017.** It now
extends `AutoStartedMongoSpec` like the other MongoDB specs here, so the test
infrastructure's container serves it, which is why it failed in the Coverage
and canary jobs and the MongoDB lanes that got past the compile.
- **The Windows shard failed the idle-poll reader spec** because
`File.length()` on Windows asks the file for its path, which the spec's sealed
file refused; it now refuses only an open.
- **Rebased onto 9.0.x**, which brings the branch its `ubuntu-22.04` pin for
the MongoDB lanes whose kernel MongoDB 8.0 refuses, and the 9.0 matrix entry;
the branch's own workflow still had the 24.04 image. Still one commit, no
conflicts.
