@jamesfredley, review 5643345657 is addressed in f69625477f, still a single
commit on 9.0.x.
- **`$` key inside `$eq`**: in a condition, the operand of `$eq`, `$ne`,
`$gt`, `$gte`, `$lt`, `$lte`, `$in`, `$nin` and `$all` is now data, so
`{"attrs":{"$eq":{"$example-secret":"value"}}}` records `{"attrs": {"$eq": {?:
?}}}`. In aggregation expressions (`$expr`, the `let` of a command, and stages
such as `$project` and `$group`), the operators of a comparison's operands are
still kept. The listener spec runs your filter and an `$expr` aggregation
against a real mongod and asserts that the key does not reach the file.
- **Same class, also fixed**: keys of `comment`/`$comment` documents, update
constants (`c`), `$jsonSchema`, the `validator` and text-index `weights`
documents, and a `$literal` in a command's `let`.
