@andrewgaul I'm sure this is something to do with my local Mac / mvn / java build environment so I doubt it will repro. I just thought since you upgraded 1.8 builds to 0.10 for some 0.9 specific issue (https://github.com/jclouds/jclouds/commit/285bc03e975a861e8da9fc5b6a1a779a8abc245c) that you may also want to upgrade 1.7. Honestly at this point I don't want to spend any time debugging a maven plugin issue that is resolved by bringing the rat version in sync with master.
