Actually, we should dictate that apis or users who muck with SSL have to use okhttp 2.1+. It has proven too unruly otherwise. This means docker and azurecompute (until azurecompute switches to oauth). We should also dictate those who cannot control the JVM in a way that makes them feel good about SSL should use okhttp.
