Fabio Utzig commented on MYNEWT-692:
------------------------------------
2). I have stm32F3DIscovery board, stm32f407Discovery board, Bluetooth starter
kit.
AFAIK those boards don't have an ethernet connector (or any wiring for that)
which makes testing really hard once you get to the point where the work is
ready for real-world testing. I'll see if there's something we can do about it.
3). Give me few hours for some study.
Sure, take your time, but don't forget to obey the GSoC time schedules for
submission.
Cheers,
Fabio Utzig

> Mynewt needs to have an Ethernet low-level layer driver/hal definition.
> Beyond proposing/discussing/defining how it needs to work, drivers should be
> added to the two most common ethernet supporting chips: K-64F and STM32Fxxx.
> Target BSPs that could make use of this are K-64F, STM32F767-Nucleo,
> STM32F429-Discovery and Olimex STM32-E407.
> PS: All STM32Fxxx based boards probably use the same enet peripheral which
> means one driver should suit them all!
