I wanted to change this branch to -old and make a new with the same name to make this PR clean. But ok I see that I don't need to. Thx @mbien and @matthiasblaesing will do changes that you all addressed. @matthiasblaesing which thumbnail do you mean? I added a thumbnail functionality to show the SVG in navigator panel and this was/is working. But I see a bug that it is not updated when launching the dev IDE. But I can also have a look into this. Funny that you said this with the middle mouse. I saw the code of dragging but it didn't work for me. Why? I have a trackpad and I just tried left and right click and dragging :D.
