Sure, but you'll have to handle the external publishing plus ASF Legal ticket to allow this if you want to take this approach. Personally, _if_ we're taking either of these approaches, I'd be tempted to bring back a minimal (and platform optional) version of Jan's agent that handles this, NBClipboard registration, and exit.
