As a windows user I want to get one file ang get Netbeans... This is the procedure this is the right thing! If this team wants to provide support for windows must do everything possible to help users have the best experience. I love NB, I use it since 2007, it feels like home and I'm willing to build agents or patches to make it work! New comers are not willing to spend time, reading, testing, trying... they need a product that the Clipboard is WORKING and they don't care if the problem is NB or Java or God... I disagree with community installers! I hardly ever use them, I think there is always a catch behind them... We have two fixes that are tested and working fine so just include one (until the problem is fixed) and we remove it later... I don't understand what is the problem using agents... >From my point of view most of the developers are not windows users and slowly >windows support will be dropped! I'm willing to help with any testing needed, and I also follow the dev mailing list to test the versions to come... Thank you all for your efforts! J!
