GitHub user nmalonzo added a comment to the discussion: Akka to Pekko Migration Rollback
Thank you @pjfanning for the response. My understanding of [this issue](https://github.com/apache/pekko/pull/837) is once you have migrated from Akka to Pekko and then rollback to Akka you will encounter a de/serialization error of a snapshot. Is this correct? Has this been fixed already? We absolutely cannot afford to have an error if for some reason we will rollback to Akka during the migration to Pekko. A live multi-step migration that does not overwrite the Akka actor's persistence entries would be ideal. Is the coexistence of Akka and Pekko nodes for migration already stable? From your docu here are the steps: 1. Join Pekko Nodes to Akka cluster 2. Transfer Akka nodes persisted info to Pekko nodes 3. Terminate all Akka nodes 4. Change Akka cluster to Pekko cluster Is this correct? Is this already stable and ready for production environment.
