Document the independently released Java client's ownership boundary and JDK 8 baseline; enumerate registration HTTP/DTO/heartbeat/discovery/MCP contracts and version-skew rules. Add a version/JDK matrix that separates declared support, configured CI and verified deployments, a release checklist, and a staged cross-repository test strategy with explicit artifacts, assertions, triggers and cost estimates. Propose the server JDK 21 migration and an opt-in bounded execution abstraction for virtual threads, including fallback, context, cancellation, observability, measurable benchmarks and rollback. These are design proposals; this PR does not change the runtime baseline, enable virtual threads or claim new cross-repository deployment certification. Historical snapshot evidence remains explicitly pinned, and the current JDK proposal accounts for the existing Enforcer rules. Validation: all local Markdown targets resolve; source inventories were checked against the main and pinned split-client POM/DTO/controller implementations.
