The only way to display such information is via tooltips that appear on hover—there’s no UI or backend option to show labels directly on the map polygons themselves. This is a known limitation: the PolygonLayer only supports visual properties like fill color, stroke, and elevation, not text labels or annotations on the polygons themselves [[source]](https://github.com/apache/superset/blob/master/superset-frontend/plugins/legacy-preset-chart-deckgl/src/layers/Polygon/Polygon.tsx). Recent updates have added label and icon support to deck.gl GeoJSON charts (for points), but this does not extend to polygons in the Polygon chart type [[source]](https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/36201). If you need persistent labels on polygons, it would require custom frontend development or a new plugin. For now, the only workarounds are to use tooltips for on-hover info or explore the GeoJSON chart type if your use case can be adapted to points with labels.
