Hi @Kash-ish15, I'm currently using 4.1.2 with Athena. Will switch to newer version but that will take some time. So, I can only confirm that this bug is reproducible on this setup. It would be nice if someone from the community already having a newer version could test this scenario on version > 4.x to get a quick confirmation. This behavior can be confusing for the SQL Lab users since it gives back wrong result: they will see there is no map value but in reality it is, jut that it cannot be properly parsed / serialized by Superset. The query is executed without any error, it just silently returns NULL. In Athena, executing the same query gives the correct result.
