Hi all -- I’m interested in working on this if it’s still open.
Before starting, I wanted to confirm a couple things:
1. Is this still reproducible in Superset 4.x / 5.x with modern SSH keys
(e.g. ED25519 or newer formats)?
2. Should the expected behavior be:
- Superset automatically detects key type and loads via Paramiko, or
- Superset only documents supported key formats and validates early?
3. I saw the experimental branch here:
https://github.com/apache/superset/compare/elizabeth/test-ssh-key
-- should a fix build on that direction, or start fresh with current main?
If confirmed, I’m happy to investigate, reproduce locally, and propose a
minimal fix with tests.
