Hi @martinkcd I'm very glad to read that it's useful, it's really the point of such work :) This is actually a minor PR made in addition to a bigger one that might also interest you: https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/36732 (customize colors and intervals for chloropleth map) As for this one, it's really a small fix, and for a immediate repair without any source code update, you might find various ways to display the label elsewhere: i've had good results by "fixing" the display with pure CSS absolute positioning, rather on top left with a 2em top offset, or with other offset values that are less prone to hide the content (eg. display on upper right rather than bottom right). Or even allow overflowing on parent block, but that's trickier to set up. But all of this is a little too tricky for a PR fix, as this won't match all use case.
