Hello tiya-9975, That is an excellent question. The presence of redundant ARG BUILDPLATFORM statements often stems from how different container engines interpret the Open Container Initiative (OCI) specifications regarding variable scoping and "reserved" arguments. podman is Strict OCI Compliance while Docker (BuildKit) is more Flexible/Forgiving it means that if it comply with podman - it also complies with docker but not oposit.
