The Exasol engine spec is fairly thin — it mainly provides time-grain expressions (`DATE_TRUNC`) and ODBC row handling — so it's unlikely to be affected by the sqlalchemy-exasol internals changing across that range. As long as the dialect still registers as `exa`/`exasol` and the basic SQLAlchemy interface contract is honored, it should be fine.
