@AmoghAtreya I think Bito's flag on `_estimate_projected_rows` checks out, I ran it against pandas 2.3.3 and the calendar frequencies (`ME`/`QE`/`YE`/`MS`/`QS`/`YS`) fall through to materializing the full `date_range`, exactly the case the new cap's supposed to avoid cheaply.
