Integrated Apache master `4c77b0b924a9bd770110915eacd68f5619e8241d` via normal merge commit `b8e94dba3bfa13312e7cb72eb75021a46385f6d8` (no rebase/force push). Resolved the `UPDATING.md` conflict by preserving master's purge/isolation notices and the complete MCP defaults/configured-limit notice. Cap 8 and its override tests are unchanged; the diff against master remains the eight intended files. On the exact integrated tree, the list_metrics, semantic-layer model and MCP tool-registration suites passed **146 tests**; all applicable branch-file pre-commit hooks passed. Complete-branch Python/semantic review and an independent integrated-source review found no blockers. The test run explicitly used this worktree's core source; no new live-provider measurement is claimed. GitHub reports the PR mergeable again and fresh CI has started on this new head.
