Heya @hainenber, thanks for chasing down the po2json replacement, nomnom's been overdue for a rip-out. Couple of things to look into before this is mergeable, though. Bito flagged what looks like a valid concern on the `--format jedold` line: might break translations under the Jed version we're actually running. Worth confirming before this merges.
