Heya @hainenber, @sadpandajoe's catch on the db_engine_specs thread seems legit. Without the registry entry, the connection-edit endpoint 500s on any existing `ascend://` connection instead of letting folks switch to `impala://` like the `UPDATING.md` note asks.
