URL: https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/45375

   ### SUMMARY

   - Encode catalog names in schema and table metadata requests, and include
the catalog in the table-query cache key.
   - Display `%2E` as `.` in catalog, schema, and role-permission labels while
preserving the underlying catalog/schema values and permission IDs.

   ### TESTING INSTRUCTIONS

   1. Connect a database whose catalog or schema name includes an encoded dot,
such as `demo%2Emetrics`. In the dataset picker, confirm the label reads
`demo.metrics`, select it, and confirm schemas and tables load.
   2. In Roles → Edit Role, confirm a permission containing `demo%2Emetrics`
displays `demo.metrics` and saving the role preserves the selected permission.
   3. Run the five affected Jest suites: DatabaseSelector, role utilities, Edit
Role modal, schema hook, and table hook. All 59 tests pass locally.

Formatting, oxlint, custom frontend rules, and stylelint passed. The staged
TypeScript hook reports eight errors in unrelated Superset files (including
ListView, Tag, dataMask, and Explore) when run from the isolated worktree with
the existing generated package declarations.
