I'm on the Superset townhall meeting right now and there is discussion about a new Canvas framework. See https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/44875 and https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/44989. I am not sure how that affects work you would do on this; I don't know that Canvas will meet the need of an SSRS-type report that prints to PDF, but maybe what we are talking about here would get build on top of Canvas?
