GitHub user FrancescoCastaldi added a comment to the discussion: How can I
create independent filter controls for each chart in Superset 6.1.0?

In Apache Superset 6.1.0, Native Filters are managed at the dashboard level via
the Filter Bar rather than being embedded directly inside individual chart
tiles. However, you can achieve your desired workflow (independent filters
scoped specifically to each chart) using three supported configurations:

### Approach 1: Scoped Native Filters with Horizontal Filter Bar (Recommended)
You can position the filter bar horizontally across the top of the dashboard
and scope each filter strictly to its target chart:
1. In `superset_config.py`, enable horizontal filter bar support:
   ```python
   FEATURE_FLAGS = {
       "HORIZONTAL_FILTER_BAR": True,
   }
   ```
2. When creating each filter in the Filter Bar:
   - Expand the **Scoping** tab in the filter modal.
   - Select **Specific charts** and choose only Chart 1 (e.g. ICE Futures
Cocoa).
   - In the filter name, include a prefix such as `[Chart 1] Country` or
`[Chart 1] Contract Month`.
3. Repeat for Chart 2, scoping those filters strictly to Chart 2.
4. Filter selections for Chart 1 will trigger queries only for Chart 1, leaving
Chart 2 completely unaffected.

### Approach 2: Dashboard Cross-Filtering as Dedicated Filter Tiles
If you want the filter controls to visually sit directly above each chart:
1. Enable cross-filtering:
   ```python
   FEATURE_FLAGS = {
       "DASHBOARD_CROSS_FILTERS": True,
   }
   ```
2. Create a compact helper Table chart or Bar chart containing the filter
dimension (for example, Asset Type or Country).
3. Place this helper chart directly above Chart 1 on the dashboard grid.
4. In the dashboard settings, configure Cross-Filter Scoping so that
interactions with the helper chart apply exclusively to Chart 1. Clicking a
value in the helper chart instantly filters Chart 1 while keeping Chart 2
isolated.

### Approach 3: Multi-Tab Dashboard Layout
If both charts represent different analysis contexts (e.g., Futures vs FOB Cash
prices), place each chart into its own Dashboard Tab. Native filters placed
within Tab 1 can be scoped exclusively to Tab 1, keeping the controls visually
and logically separated.
