   ## SUMMARY

When a Native AI provider returns ordinary assistant text together with a
tool call, the runtime currently streams that text as an answer, then
reclassifies it as thinking and removes it from the final answer. Keep provider
text in the answer across tool turns and use only the provider's separate
thinking channel for the thought process panel. Add paragraph boundaries
between streamed turns so live and completed content agree.

   > **ON HOLD — Draft pending SIP-224.** This change depends on
https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/42805. Please do not merge until
https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/42806 is accepted and the parent
Native AI implementation is ready.

The branch includes the shared Native AI compatibility base updated to
Apache master. Focused fix: `065dd041fa`. Reasoning persistence is tracked
separately in #45719.

   ## BEFORE/AFTER SCREENSHOTS OR ANIMATED GIF

A tool turn containing “I'll check the row count.” followed by “42 orders.”
now retains both paragraphs in the answer. Only explicitly supplied thinking
appears in the reasoning panel.

   ## TESTING INSTRUCTIONS

   - Both streaming and non-streaming regression cases fail on the previous
behavior.
   - Runtime and orchestrator tests: 61 passed.
   - Assertions compare streamed text, final content and the runtime's
persisted answer; a separate test ensures provider thinking never enters the
answer.
   - Branch-file pre-commit checks passed.

   ## ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Existing `AI_ASSISTANT` feature flag. No new configuration or schema change
in the focused fix. No live model or deployment was used. The shared
compatibility base contains the migration-head merge required by the unmerged
parent.
