   ## SUMMARY

Native AI chart context selects saved controls from a fixed whitelist and
omits calculated-column expressions. This hides plugin transformations such as
normalization and makes a calculated alias look like a physical warehouse
column. Return the saved configuration as untrusted structured context, include
column expressions and `is_calculated`, and mark bounded field lists as
incomplete.

The generic prompt now tells the model to inspect expressions and active
filters, distinguish displayed normalization from raw query values, calculate
arithmetic in SQL, and check user corrections against source evidence. No
deployment-specific columns, metrics or formulas are embedded.

   > **ON HOLD — Draft pending SIP-224.** Depends on the Native AI parent
https://github.com/apache/superset/pull/42805. Please do not merge until
https://github.com/apache/superset/issues/42806 is accepted and the parent
implementation is ready.

The branch includes the shared parent compatibility base updated to Apache
master. Focused fix: `0bf111dfa3`.

   ## BEFORE/AFTER SCREENSHOTS OR ANIMATED GIF

Tool payload change: plugin controls and calculated expressions remain
visible, including false/null settings. Object access checks remain in the same
path.

   ## TESTING INSTRUCTIONS

   - Two regression tests fail before the fix.
   - `test_tools.py` and `test_prompts.py`: 169 passed, including existing
authorization and prompt-framing checks.
   - Branch-file pre-commit checks passed.

   ## ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Existing `AI_ASSISTANT` flag; no new flag or migration in the focused fix.
The shared compatibility base merges the AI and upstream migration heads. More
complete context and prompt guidance cannot guarantee that all model-generated
SQL or interpretations are correct. No live model or deployment was used.
