The more I think about it, I'm inclined to say we don't need a SIP here. Python 3.15 is "current" so updating to support the _prior_ version is just what I'd call "technical debt" - and not an improvement needing a proposal. I'd say just open the PR(s) to make it happen, and as long as it's non-breaking, we should be just fine.
