Our maven 2.1 snpshot version does not execute checkstyle so it will be
difficult to test correctly. I use Eclipse's checkstyle plugin that works great
for that matter but if you don't use Eclipse I'm sure it exists one for IDEA. I
think the best for you is to use directly Checkstyle you can find at
http://checkstyle.sourceforge.net/. This page also list checkstyle integration
for vim and netbean, maybe it can help you.
